Event Planner
Role: An event planner is responsible for the overall management and execution of an event. This role involves everything from conceptualizing the event and creating a plan to managing budgets, timelines, and logistics. They handle the big picture, including selecting venues, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with vendors.
Focus: The primary focus is on organizing and overseeing all aspects of the event. They ensure that everything runs smoothly and according to the client's vision and objectives.

Event Coordinator
Role: An event coordinator typically focuses on the details and logistics of an event. They work closely with the event planner to implement the plan and ensure that every detail is executed correctly. This can include managing the schedule, coordinating with vendors on the day of the event, and handling any issues that arise.
Focus: The emphasis is on executing the event smoothly. They are often on-site during the event to manage activities, oversee setup and teardown, and handle any last-minute adjustments.
Event Designer
Role: An event designer is focused on the aesthetics and visual aspects of an event. They are responsible for creating the overall look and feel of the event, including themes, décor, and layout. This involves working on elements like color schemes, furniture arrangements, floral arrangements, and other decorative elements.
Focus: The primary focus is on the design and ambiance of the event. They work to ensure that the visual and thematic elements align with the client's vision and enhance the guest experience.

In summary, while an event planner oversees the entire event from start to finish, an event coordinator handles the day-to-day details and logistics, and an event designer focuses on the visual and stylistic elements. Depending on the size and complexity of the event, these roles might be filled by the same person or by separate specialists. Great news for you. I do all three!
